Congratulations! You’'re graduating soon! At Echoes we pride ourselves at going above and beyond your typical photographer. Our sessions last two to three hours both on location or in the studio. A variety of locations are available as wide as your imagination! Got a cool location in mind? Give us a call! We don’'t want your portraits to look the same any more than you do. After all, that is why people come to Echoes. Each session is personalized to fit the individuals style and personality. Brett will give direction during the shoot, he always loves to hear ideas and works to bring the personality of the individual to each session. Portrait sessions are conducted both in the studio and on location, using both natural light, and a combination of studio and natural lighting to create a portfolio that will stand out in Omaha. The goal is to create a photograph that will be as much in style 20 years from now as it is today.
Variety is king at Echoes! Plan to bring four to five changes of clothing with you. Don’'t bring three pairs of blue jeans and three T-shirts. Choose to have a variety of looks! If you aren’'t sure what to bring, toss in a few extra things and we will help you choose what will work best. However, some clothing photographs better than others. Patterns, Logos, words can be distracting, solids are typically better. It’'s best to keep the lights with the lights and the darks with the darks. If you are wearing dark jeans or pants, then try to pick out a darker shirt or sweater, and vice versa. Avoid strong contrast between the top and bottom of your outfits.
Echoes photography avoids owning too many photographic props, as we feel these detract from the true personality of our clients. However, you are more than welcome to bring your own. These could include sports items such as a football or volleyball, musical instruments, cars, collections, artwork, activity-related items or anything that is meaningful or relates to your own personal interests. Use your imagination for truly unique pics! Your session is relaxed, informal and lots of fun. Echoes encourages individuality, unlike some of the big name studios that put you with the same props as the 200 people before and after you.
Be excited about the experience of coming to a professional photography studio, magic happens here! The studio experience is centered around you. Imagine yourself glowing under the lights of the studio. Surrounded by lights and pro equipment, you become star as you've seen on TV and movie sets. The studio is modern-artsy, but not pretentious. Think interesting, cool, low-key vibe! Echoes is a privately owned Omaha studio with our only obligations being to you.
When you call to book your senior portrait session, I’ll probably ask you a few questions like, —where do you go to school? What do you do for fun? Do you do any extra-curricular activities? The answers to these questions will help me guide you in planning your portrait session and get original pix!
